GARD A body discovered in the Rhône
An investigation into the causes of death is underway….
A witness called for help on Saturday January 18 when he saw a body floating in the Rhône. The macabre discovery was made in the town of Beaucaire and immediately on site the firefighters and the police set up a system to fish him out. It is the body of a woman and according to initial findings, the authorities make a link with a lady who disappeared in the area just before Christmas. Investigations have been carried out, but criminal charges are not being considered at this stage. An investigation into the causes of death has been launched.
