A new addition to the nature running scene in Île-de-France, the Festival des 3 Forêts is offering beautiful trail circuits for the very first time in September 2025, including several ultras.
The weekend of September 13 and 14, 2025the appointment is made within forests of Val-d'Oise on the occasion of Festival of the 3 Forestsa sporting event offers various running races, ranging from 13 to more than 160 kilometers. Around Lyon, they have the famous Saintélyon, declined over the years in many shorter formats (and therefore, more accessible to a majority of runners): in Paris, finally, in Val-d'Oise, we will now have the Festival of the 3 Forestswhich celebrates its first edition in September 2025.
Here, the long distance enthusiasts and natural landscapes will be filled, with no less than seven different circuits ranging from 13 kilometers (with 300 meters of elevation gain) to 162 kilometers (for 5,000 meters of elevation gain), departing from Mériel. Connecting the three largest forest massifs of Val-d'Oise, the proposed ultra-trail takes you to the heart of French Vexin and its small picturesque villages. Along the way, you will be able to discover the most beautiful nuggets of our Ile-de-France forests: the blue lake of Carnelle, the Grand Val valley, the Isle-Adam forest…
