The altarpieces

One of the major projects, that of the restoration of the altarpieces, will be completed in the first quarter of 2025. A delicate and ambitious project, financed to the tune of €300,000.

Thank you to the generous donors who, alongside the municipality, the Department, the Region and the State, contributed €20,000 to this project.

A new subdivision

This year will also see the launch of calls for tenders for the subdivision of Calagan.

“Thirteen lots will be put up for sale, with a superb view of the West Valley and the rising sun,” specifies the mayor. An initiative which is part of a desire to attract new residents while boosting local businesses.

An open-air exhibition

Finally, a new outdoor exhibition will be organized, on the model of that of 2021. This time, the works of painter Lucien Pouëdras will be honored.

“We are still counting on many visitors, and this will be an opportunity for strengthened cooperation between the municipality, associations and volunteers.”
