Ziguinchor, January 18 (APS) – Casa-Sports de Ziguinchor says it is “more than ever” convinced of a rapid and favorable resolution of the financial aspect of the transfer of Nicolas Jackson from Villareal to Chelsea in 2023, in which the club southern capital of Senegal must receive training compensation.

“Casa Sports is following with interest, but above all discernment, lucidity and serenity, the evolution of the situation concerning the transfer of its ex-member Nicolas Jackson, from Villarreal to Chelsea and is working with the administration of the Senegalese federation, to overcome the related difficulties in order to allow the club to return, as soon as possible, to its funds,” indicated its general manager, Siaka Bodian, in a press release sent to the APS.

»Today, more than ever, Casa-Sports is convinced that this issue will find a happy outcome and therefore urges its supporters and sympathizers to strengthen the mobilization around their flagship team to enable it to turn the tide in championship and to resolutely commit to the reconquest of its recent glorious past,” we read in the document reporting Mr. Bodian’s remarks.

An administrative omission by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) would have deprived Casa-Sports of compensation of several million CFA francs in this transfer.

Casa Sports would not have been registered as a training club with the FSF. This omission would have prevented FIFA from identifying Casa-Sports as the beneficiary of the training compensation during Jackson’s transfer to Chelsea.

As a result, Casa Sports would not have received the sums that were due to it.

The training allowance is financial compensation provided by FIFA for clubs which have trained a player between the ages of 12 and 23, when he signs his first professional contract or is transferred between clubs from different associations before the age of 23 .
