Adapting the eponymous investigative book by David Grann, the feature film recounted the massacre of the Osage nation by money-hungry whites at the beginning of the 20th century. Crimes that would give birth to J. Edgar Hoover's FBI. Although he was ignored by some of the public and did not win any Oscars, Killers of the Flower Moon was unanimously considered a masterpiece and is undoubtedly among the best films of the year 2023.

-Leonardo was afraid it would be too much of a white savior story; So he decided to play the other role, which is good, except that I already had 5 years of work under my belt on this scenario. I have mixed feelings about the film. Well I mean I love the movie overall, Marty gave an incredibly sad and accurate portrayal of what we did to these people and their greed. I think it's a very important film. I just wish it was more entertaining. I love Tom White, the main character in the book, who Jesse Plemons ended up playing. I would have liked us to see more.
Note that despite its immense success with critics, Martin Scorsese's new fresco suffered some criticism, in particular because it was not centered around the character of Mollie Kyle, brilliantly played by the indigenous actress Lily Gladstone. We also remember that Martin Scorsese confided in an interview that Leonardo DiCaprio's incessant improvisations sometimes made him roll his eyes. A feeling shared by Robert De Niro. But rest assured: there is no disagreement between the legendary director and his favorite actor.
