An OPHLM tenant is fighting against incivility and a certain degradation of his environment. He designed an Advent calendar which points out dysfunctions, but what happens afterwards?
A retired paramedic, Michel Marie was for a long time one of the leaders of Cedra, the association opposed to the Cigéo project. He has lived for around thirty years in the heart of Vert-Bois, in the Morvan building. Next to the Blaise Pascal high school, a building that resembles a tower, both near and far on the heights overlooking the new district of the city. Greenery and new developments make the place, at first glance, rather attractive. However, this is not what the tenant experiences on a daily basis. Also, in December he created a somewhat special Advent calendar.
“There are no more interlocutors, a resignation from everything”
From 1is on December 17, he distributed to around a hundred contacts his ''Advent Calendar of a curious region'', in this case the Morvan building to point out the dysfunctions of the social landlord. “The idea was to make things happen, to make it constructive,” underlines Michel Marie. He thus carried out a meticulous investigation revealing day after day the negligence and the slow deterioration of the services provided. “I would like to understand why this micro-community has gone into a disastrous direction, with serious consequences”he continues. If the first days of his calendar describe the transformations of his building, things deteriorate on the 4the day. a previously closed door still remains open today, allowing entry into the building “like in a mill”.
Abandon
Result : “squats, smokes, deals in complete tranquility and risks of all kinds”, notes Michel Marie. Another consequence is that the garbage room has become a real dump.
