More oceanic
It is the return of more oceanic air which will explain the rise in temperatures. Indeed, after experiencing cold air, particularly through radiation, the low pressure regime will regain strength. This will have the effect of bringing much milder air both at altitude and in the lower layers of the atmosphere.
In fact, we will find seasonal values then slightly higher. Spring is not yet here. More precisely, we could reach 10°C in the northern half or even locally 14°C in the eastern half.
This mildness will be a little less present in the northwest with values generally between 5 and 8°C. This increase in temperatures is mainly expected from the evening of Wednesday or even during the day on Thursday.
-Moist softness
This rise in temperatures will be accompanied by further precipitation. Bad weather which will bring a rather autumnal feeling.
It will be rain up to at least medium altitude. We will monitor rain accumulations combined with snowmelt : the risk of flooding or even flooding will be present in several departments.
If we look at the accumulations forecast by the European ECMWF model, these should be between 15 and 30mm by next Sunday. Rather moderate accumulations therefore but we will watch out for the succession of disturbances. These bad weather will put an end to the episode of fine particle pollution which affects a large part of France this weekend.
To hope for almost spring-like weather, do you want to go near the big blue sea? This is not a guarantee: instability could also present itself very mildly.

This alternation between cold and then soft air is not new. This is indeed classic for our so-called temperate climate latitudes. However, climate change leads to sometimes more marked differences.
