She was born in the North Caribbean in Martinique but it was in Vauréal that she grew up. Crowned Miss France 2025 last December 14, Angélique Angarni-Filopon34, spent his childhood in the Val-d'Oise.
“A happy and very calm childhood. I lived in a small suburban neighborhood, my neighbors were all girls. I had my small group of best friends,” she recently confided to our colleagues at Télé Loisirs.
The college years
“As a schoolgirl in Vauréal, I was elected to the municipal youth council. It was in Vauréal that everything was forged for me and I was cradled in this little piece of 95, with a good West Indian culture very present in this town, also explained the new Miss France in the columns of Le Parisien. My father had founded Colibri, an association which brought together West Indians two or three times a month. There were meals, evenings, banquets. »
-“He is a retired ex-brigadier and he continues to train police officers,” the woman who was until now a flight attendant revealed in the columns of Paris Match. I think he taught my brother and sister how to cope. We had very few video games and a lot of books, so it developed my love of reading. »
The new Miss France has not forgotten this Vauréal childhood. “I have never been the most beautiful. Even the least beautiful. I had braces, my teeth were very forward. I was very small until 5th grade, and with those front teeth, they called me little pony.”
