Jean-François Wielgus, mayor of Bois-Jérôme-Saint-Ouen (Eure), presented, Saturday January 11his wishes in the presence of Chantale Le Gall, departmental councilor, Hervé Maurey, senator, and Timothée Houssin, deputy.
After welcoming the new residents, Jean-François Wielgus recalled the achievements of the past year such as the completion of the school renovationthe continued burying of networks or the installation of a more powerful electrical substation.
Work at the entrance to the village
For 2025, a reflection is underway on the future of the land located opposite the school: either sell it to build two or four individual housesor transfer them to a lessor to build rental accommodation intended for families or seniors.
Low use of on-demand transport
The mayor recalled that a transport on demand (TAD) service was set up by SNA in 2024, allowing people to travel to Vernon for €2. On trial for two years, this system may not be renewed given its low attendance.
Works of renovation of the roads at the entrance to the village via rue de la Noue should take place in 2025. “You can count on us for sound management and for the fairest use of taxpayers' money,” concluded the mayor. .
A wish taken up by Hervé Maurey in the form of a nod to current events:
“In terms of management, the municipality is a model from which the State should draw inspiration. »
