The evening of Monday January 6 was a special moment for the Uxello cinema in Vayrac. Indeed, Jean-Michel Jusserandot, projectionist, was in charge of the projector for the last time. He took a well-deserved retirement after fourteen years at Uxello. The only employee of the association, he signed his first employment contract in 2010. Circumstances dictated that he leave this job and return a little later to ensure the continued operation of the Vayracois cinema.
Jean-Michel is an affable man, always smiling and even-tempered. Perfectly competent, he made the transition from projection with films on film to the current fully digital projection in 2012 in Vayrac.
This Monday, January 6, many members of the Ciné Spectacles l'Uxello association paid tribute to him to thank him before the screening. The spectators present joined in this well-deserved closing clap for Jean-Michel.
-Remember that the Uxello cinema is managed by volunteers (more than 80). As an employee, Jean-Michel Jusserandot will be replaced by Baptiste Buffet. The Uxello cinema continues its path as an independent cinema!
