The town of Montebourg (Manche) invited the mayors of neighboring towns, representatives of associations and authorities to the greeting ceremony on Friday January 10, 2025. Those who responded were welcomed to the village hall by Mayor Jean-Pierre Mauquest. He then began the ceremony in the presence of Christèle Castelein, departmental advisor.
He first returned to the important events, both in terms of works and demonstrations. “This moment gives us the opportunity to recall our gratitude to the living forces of our town,” he said. They sometimes work in the shadows and, without them, our town would not be what it is. »
