She describes grueling working conditions. “Each day goes by at a pace that leaves me neither time to have a proper lunch nor to go to the toilet.” In this area of several hundred km², where six doctors still practiced a few years ago for more than 6,000 inhabitants, Anaïs finds herself alone, replacing an elderly doctor.
