Switzerland continues to expand its web of free trade agreements. Latest progress to date: the end of negotiations, successfully completed at the end of November, between EFTA (European Free Trade Association) and Thailand. The agreement is expected to be signed again this month, it has been learned Time.

After the conclusion of an agreement with India last March, “Swiss economic diplomacy has thus achieved another remarkable success”, underlined Economiesuisse at the beginning of December. Once again, noted the umbrella association, EFTA (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) managed to conclude its negotiations with Thailand before the EU.
