“The first feeling is anger. This action does nothing for anyone, it is gratuitous and disappointing. » Five days later, Alain Lange, mayor of Athis-Val-de-Rouvre (Orne), looks back on the acts of vandalism committed in his commune: the public toilets behind the Saint-Vigor church were ransacked.

Toilets crushed and unusable

It was the municipal police who noted the facts, Wednesday January 8, 2025. “The church toilets were crushed and became unusable,” explains the elected official.

This is very rare in our town, but it is quite discouraging.

“A quote was made to study the installation of automatic public toilets behind the church. » This new implementation was planned, regardless of the damage committed.
