Individuals entered a home in Saint-Honoré to attack the people there before being arrested in the hours that followed.
It was around 9:15 p.m. that the authorities were called to a residence on Martel Boulevard.
Several men had just burst into the home when an altercation occurred with one of the people who were inside.
“The suspects then fled the area. No one was injured,” explains Nancy Fournier, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The crime scene was protected overnight to preserve evidence and allow investigators to shed light on this case.
Three suspects, aged 33, 34 and 42, were finally arrested in connection with this event during the evening. However, it cannot be ruled out that other arrests will be added in the coming days, as the investigation is not completed.
The provincial police force, however, refuses to specify whether a weapon was used during the altercation, to avoid harming the investigation.
Mme Fournier also adds that it is too early to say that the event is linked to the drug war pitting the Hells Angels against street gangs.
At the time of writing, the three individuals were still detained awaiting further proceedings.
