According to him, several factors explain this performance. “The resounding successes of the Atlas Lions on the international scene have given Morocco unprecedented visibility and global influence. But that’s not all. The authorities’ concerted efforts to strengthen air connectivity, modernize hotel infrastructure and promote domestic tourism are beginning to bear fruit.”

Mohamed Saouti also insisted on the importance of public-private partnerships to develop new reception capacities and improve the quality of services offered to visitors. He estimates that these actions, coupled with intelligent diversification of tourist offers, will make it possible to achieve the ambitious objective of 26 million visitors by 2030, with expected revenues of 120 billion dirhams.

“Today, our challenge is clear: consolidate these achievements and continue to innovate to appeal to all categories of travelers, whether national or foreign. Morocco has everything to succeed. We just need to maintain this course,” he concludes optimistically.
