The General Directorate for Healthcare Supply (DGOS) published news last December to provide a clear and detailed vision of current and future opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs in the digital health and e-health sector.
This mapping was built in particular with the regional health agencies, the National Health Insurance Fund, the Health Innovation Agency and industrial players. It contains:
- Concrete use cases where digital technology can transform patient care and professional practices;
- A list of priority areas to be explored in greater depth to maximize the potential of digital technology, particularly to free up caregiver time;
- Details of market needs and national strategic orientations, allowing innovations to be aligned with sector priorities.
Designed to be scalable in order to adapt to technological advances and the needs expressed in the field, it thus actively participates in the construction of tomorrow’s uses, based on a shared and coherent vision of the challenges of the sector. The ambition is to enable entrepreneurs to identify new market niches, anticipate future trends and develop solutions in line with the real needs of the French health system.
