The cast of Dancing with the stars is growing little by little. For several weeks, TF1 reveals the names of the candidates who will come to walk the floor of the show to try to win the trophy won by Natasha St-Pier and Anthony Colette last year. This Monday, January 6, 2025, the front page formalized a new name, known by all fans of the film A little something extra.
Indeed, an actress who took part in the Artus project will participate in the new season of TV crochet presented by Camille Combal. This is the actress Mayane as the channel announced via a press release a few minutes ago.
Mayane made official in the casting of “Dancing with the Stars”
Real name Mayane-Sarah El Baze, the 20-year-old young woman is indeed one of the heroines of the comedy A little something extra. In the space of a few months, the actor's film managed to attract more than 10 million spectators to cinemas and enter the TOP 25 most seen feature films in France.
“Mayane has already participated in half a dozen films or series, including HPI with Audrey Fleurot, I'll go to the end of my dreams and Handigang by Stéphanie Pillonca, So far so good with Nawell Madani on Netflix, a short -film SHE IS OH-OH, directed by Léa Reguillot who won the international jury prize at the Florida festival in 2023”, recalled TF1 by announcing the presence of Mayane in the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
The channel also reminds that it is a member of the 21 Rêves association which “aim to promote actions contributing to the well-being of people with Down syndrome with the motto 'The difference never ceases to surprise you'”.
A very pleasant cast
Obviously, the 20-year-old actress will not be the only one to walk the floor of the show. The athletes Florent Manaudou and Adil Rami, Miss France 2024 Ève Gilles, Lénie from the Star Academy, the host Sophie Davant, as well as the actress and director Charlotte de Turckheim, complete the casting for the moment.
Regarding the jury of Dancing with the starsthis remains the same as the previous season. Fans will thus be able to find Chris Marques, Jean-Marc Généreux, Fauve Hautot, and even Mel Charlot.
