The author of a snatching actively sought in Cherbourg

Ce Monday January 6, 2025around 6:10 a.m., a young woman of 22 ans had his phone stolen portable rue du Val de Saire in Cherbourg (Manche).

She was accosted by an individual who, at first, asked her to borrow her phone to make a call. He had supposedly just been released from the hospital.

Then the man then returned the phone to her before threaten, declaring to be in possession of a knife.

He grabbed the phone again and took the leak. A complaint was filed.

Bloody hands

The services of police were requested, an hour later, rue Pierre-Brossolette in Tourlaville, by a man informing them that an individual had presented himself to him, the bloody hands.

His interlocutor, who matched the description of the thief, had also bragged about robbing a grocery store.

Upon their arrival, the police identified the individual who managed to escape from them. The man is actively sought.
