This Monday, January 6, storm Floriane swept through the Deux-Sèvres department. Of the gusts approaching 100 km/h were recorded in the morning. The depression is now shifting towards the northeast. During the day, the winds will decrease in intensity, Météo France indicated.
For security reasons, the SNCF has taken the decision to cancel numerous trainss, this Monday morning. All trains leaving via Niort or Châtellerault were canceled this Monday morning.
Traffic resumed this afternoon
In the Deux-Sèvres department, rail traffic resumed almost normally in the afternoon on Monday.
Most of the disturbance has now passed and the winds will become less and less violent as the day goes on. No disruption is expected on the rail network this Tuesday, January 7.
The department is still placed on yellow alert for strong winds.
