While he celebrates his 76th birthday this Monday January 6Thierry Ardisson cannot yet fully enjoy the joys of retirement. So, he did not give up all his activities. In June 2023, viewers could watch one of its latest productions, Hotel of timea fiction interview magazine, which after looking at Dalida and Jean Gabin was interested in Coluche. And just last October, he published his eighth book, The golden age of advertisinga golden age, with its dangers, which he knew since he made his debut in this sector in the 80s. We owes him in particular unforgettable slogans as Ovomaltine is dynamite!, Vas-y Wasa! or even Lapeyre, there aren’t two!

It was at the end of this decade that Ardisson met Béatrice Loustalan, a musician, composer and stylist fourteen years his junior. whom he will marry on April 2, 1988. From their union will be born three children : Manon, in 1989, Ninon, in 1991 and the youngest, Gaston, in 1995. Each of them followed a very distinct path: the youngest is an entrepreneur who notably invested in business of selling canned water via sa société Oxygen WaterNinon is an artist and speaker who works at the University of the Arts, in London, as for the eldest, it is the only one who took a path similar to that of her fathersuccessfully! The parallel does not stop there: with her elongated face that one would believe to have been drawn by Modigliani, Manon is truly the double from the former host of Hello Earthlings

The productions of Manon, the daughter of Thierry Ardisson, have been awarded worldwide

After being trained, like her sister, in major English universitiesManon Ardisson quickly moved towards audiovisual production. From the beginning of the 2010s, she launched her first creations in London, where she spent most of her career. She has contributed to a wide range of fiction projects, including the feature film Only Earth directed by Francis Lee. This film, which tells a love story between a Yorkshire farmer and a Romanian migrant, was nominated for British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and has won several prestigious distinctions, notably at international festivals such as Sundance, Edinburgh, Chicago et Berlin.

Manon also co-produces critically acclaimed Venezuelan feature films, The Solitude et The Fortressboth directed by Jorge Thielen Armand. Additionally, she produced the documentary El Father Plays Himself by Mo Scarpelli, who was also located in Venezuela, thus demonstrating his commitment to diverse and daring projects.

For around ten years, from 2015 to early 2024, the young woman worked within the English branch ofArdimagesa production company created in 2005 by Ardisson. But since the beginning of last year, she left England and works in !

Thierry Ardisson's daughter became a mother

The one who has been a mother for almost four years, like Purepeople announced it to you, is responsible for fiction at Cottonwood Media. This company, launched in 2014, creates, produces and invests in animated and live action content. The company currently has four creations, including the pre-teen drama series Find Me in Parisas well as animated feature films like that Around the World in 80 Days (distributed by Studio Canal) currently in production.

Last November, Manon rejoiced on her social networks by announcing her latest “baby” : “« Witches » is released today on MUBI worldwide! So don't miss it! This is an intimate and moving documentary about madness and magic, directed by the brilliant Elizabeth Sankey. I'm so proud to have produced it with Chiara Ventura and Jeremy Warmsley.”

There is no doubt that Thierry Ardisson also now shares this pride, he who during his children's first years did not take much advantage of them. He opened up about it in July 2019 in the columns of Current values. “It will remain a shortage,” he blurted out. I wasn't often there to see my children frolic. When they are 2 or 3 years old, it must be nice.” he noted. “I only joined them on weekends, exhausted, and I only saw them on Sunday lunchtime.” “I regret that,” he concluded, affirming however that he was taking care “lots of them today.” “I’m making up for it!” he explained.

Manon made her father cry

Paradoxically, it is to his new wife, Audrey Crespo-Mara, that he owes this rapprochement with the children he had with Béatrice, from whom he divorced in 2010. At the microphone of Nathalie Renouxlast October on RTLthe man in black indulged in a few confidences, praising, as always, the one who shares his life today: “I am very loving. My wife Audrey Crespo-Mara has given me a lot. It's been fifteen years now. She reconciled me a little with the world, she brought me closer to my children…”

A rapprochement which was expressed via Manon in September 2023 on the airwaves of Blue. While Thierry Ardisson was a guest on the show The Culture Scene to promote your channel Ardivision, her eldest had recorded a message for her. “Hi dad, it’s Manon. We talked with Ninon and Gaston (the host's two other children, editor's note) that this was the right opportunity to tell you how much we are proud of you. When we think back to the first book you wrote when you were 13 (…) and we see today that you are releasing the Ardivision which compiles all your programs, it's truly incredible. We are super proud of your career and everything you have managed to accomplish! (…). You are truly an inspiration to all three of us. We love you !”, concluded the young woman who undoubtedly received the talent and this inspiration as an inheritance. Words that moved his father to tears…
