A passenger bus swerved causing several minor injuries on Saturday evening on Route 133 in Saint-Armand, in Estrie.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. About forty passengers were on board when the bus overturned.
“Most of the occupants would have escaped on their own with minor injuries,” said SQ spokesperson Frédéric Deshaies. Around fifteen transports were necessary to a hospital center.

“Two people reportedly suffered more serious injuries, but they were conscious when first responders arrived,” he added. There is no fear for the lives of these individuals.”
According to the SQ, weather and road conditions could have played a significant role in the cause of the swerve.
