For its shade projects on the car parks of the Boulay-Moselle and Bouzonville sports complexes, the company Boréas, based in Boulay-Moselle and specializing in renewable energies, offers crowdfunding in collaboration with the Lumo platform. “The population of the two intermunicipalities is invited to invest in these two solar power plants,” explains Élise Abecassis, project manager. Everyone can contribute between €50 and €50,000. The sum is blocked for three years and repaid with a gross interest rate of 7% per year. It is a savings system for people which also helps accelerate the energy transition in their communities. »
Exclusively
From January 8 to 12, the system will only be open to residents of the two communities of municipalities. It will be open to the whole of France from January 13. As a reminder, Boréas is building two large-scale power plants. In Bouzonville, the project includes 1,600 m2 of solar panels which will produce 395,000 kWh per year. The electricity produced will provide part of the electricity consumption of municipal buildings, the gymnasium and sports infrastructures. Boréas hopes to obtain €400,000 in crowdfunding.
In Boulay-Moselle, 3,500 m2 of solar panels placed on shade structures will produce 826,000 kWh each year. The electricity produced will provide part of the electricity consumption of the swimming pool, the vocational high school, the gymnasium, the municipal buildings and the two charging stations. Boréas hopes to raise €600,000 in crowdfunding.
