The Bures family installed their carousel and its stands on Place Juhel in Mayenne on November 30, 2024. Present every Christmas for 25 years, the carousel will be uninstalled this Sunday, January 5, 2025, at closing, at 6:45 p.m.
Dependent on bad weather
The results are mixed this year. “We really didn't have any luck with the weather. Between the rain and the storms, it's not a good session for us, says Brigitte Bures. We still had a few people when the families were leaving the cinema. »
This year, the Bures decided to open on Christmas Day. A good idea since a few families responded. “After the meal and the visit of Santa Claus, as it wasn't raining, we had a lot of traffic. »
Back in spring
Like every year, the carousel, duck fishing and the stuffed toy crane stand will be back in April for one month. “This year, the school holidays come at a good time for us since we will be there”slips Valentin Bures. In the meantime, the family will spend the winter on their land in Aron.
