At nightfall, the neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés is adorned with its most beautiful lights and we immerse ourselves in it to discover an establishment at the bend of one of its streets a little secretwhich is not revealed from the outside, as if you had to know it to suspect the little wonder it contains…
Once the door of Flirt passed, we were able to have a warm meeting with Elvis “welcome host” and former physiognomist of the Bus Palladium, before discovering a chic universe without being elitist in a delicately subdued atmosphere, where you can enjoy cocktailsa little music and an elegant offering of finger food, from 6:30 p.m.
Both a cocktail bar and festive club certain evenings, Flirt vibrates to the rhythm of its guests of the day, through three spaces with very distinct decorations. You can therefore decide to sit down throughout the evening directly at the bar, to observe the creation of cocktails, choose a quiet corner in a somewhat lounge-like room with printed patterns and daring lighting… or delve into the depths of of the house, in the heart of the vaulted cellar with a speakeasy feel, with its second bar, used during evenings with DJ Thursday to Saturday, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.!
If the bar seems small at first glance when you stick to the ground floor, its basement in dancefloor mode greatly enlarges it and allows many customers looking for a little party to have fun , with friends or for a date, because what's better than Flirting to start a romance? In this new intimate hideaway in the 6th arrondissement where we feel safe, we quickly indulge in confidences, in a welcoming and refined atmosphere.
As for drinks, you can of course opt for the selection of wines, champagnes and spirits, but we advise you to discover the beautifully presented house cocktailssignatures like the classics, around 15 euros.
Our choice fell on three plant-based and colorful elixirs: Figuy Springbased on vodka, with a perfect marriage between a slight bitterness and the sweet delicacy of the fig, the Pornstarmuch more spicy and nicely tangy thanks to the passion fruit and maracujà, with a sweeter vanilla note and the Daiquirosedelicate and fragrant, without the taste of the flower being too imposing.
To accompany these delicious beverages, we have set our sights on foie gras toaststhe latter being served generously, discreetly peppered and particularly sweet, a avocado toast very lemony and spicy, with an absolutely delicious guacamole and a soft brioche bread, generously garnished with lobster.
These are accompaniments in good quantity that are rarely found on bar menus as they are so careful, but inevitably a little more expensive just simple nachos, from 14 to 26 euros. Moreover, the kitchen stays open all nighta significant point which avoids a lot of worries in case of cravings on the dancefloor!
