Earthquake in LaRonde
On Monday June 24 at 8:49 a.m., an earthquake in Preissac was caused by the activities of the LaRonde mining complex. Agnico Eagle management confirmed that the workers had all been brought to the surface since 4:30 p.m. the same day. The employees were able to return underground within the same week.

The departure of the Truck Rodeo from Notre-Dame-du-Nord led to a wave of resignations, announcements and meetings to develop the projects. The event first moved to Ontario, then a new version was announced in Lorrainville by another committee. Many wonder if the event as it was known in Témiscamingue will be able to survive.
