Like every year, the week before the winter holidays, the Arc-en-Ciel nursery school celebrated Christmas. The children participated in a cooking workshop, received a visit from Santa Claus, and shared a Christmas meal. A week which ended with a puppet show kindly offered by Christophe Salles, responsible for school catering at the two schools in the town. After his service, Christophe went to meet the children and voluntarily gave a show accompanied by his puppet Norton. Self-taught, Christophe created everything: a string puppet representing a mouse, a scene, decorations, etc. Norton – accompanied by Rodolphe, Santa's red-nosed reindeer, surrounded by elves and forest animals – played Christmas nursery rhymes on the piano, then more contemporary and rock pieces on the guitar. At the end of the show, accompanied by Christophe, the very cute Norton puppet even came off stage to greet his young audience who, captivated and charmed, had completely entered his world. These festive moments brought together students, teachers and municipal staff around the spirit of Christmas.
