Presented for the first time in Paris in 1979, Starmania launched the careers of many great French-speaking voices such as Daniel Balavoine, Gall and Maurane in France, or even Diane Dufresne, Fabienne Thibeault, Claude Dubois, Isabelle Boulay in Quebec.

Since then, the show has never stopped being performed and adapted. The artists of the new and fourth version of the rock opera, directed by Thomas Jolly – who also signed the opening and closing ceremonies of the Paris Olympic Games – including Gabrielle Lapointe, Miriam Baghdassarian and William Cloutier, were also there to perform songs that had an extraordinary destiny.

We are thinking in particular of the parts When we arrive in town, Complaint of the automaton waitress, The businessman’s blues, A boy like no other, SOS of an earthling in distress, One against the other, Monopolis or even The world is stoned.
