The year 2025 has barely begun when it is already bereaved by a firearm homicide. During the night from Thursday to Friday, a 37-year-old man died after being seriously injured by gunfire in Noisy-le-Sec. The projectiles hit him in the abdomen, left elbow and buttock. Around 11:10 p.m., he was dropped off at the André Grégoire hospital in (Seine-Saint-Denis) by unknown people who quickly left. The victim died shortly before midnight.

At the same time, the police were informed that “virulent individuals” had appeared in the emergency room of the hospital. Then friends of the thirty-year-old specified that he lived on rue de la Dhuys in Noisy-le-Sec. On site, the police noted the presence on the ground of “four 7.65 caliber shell casings as well as broken glass”, details a police source.

Another interlocutor, close to the case, indicates that the deceased man had been the victim of an attempted homicide in the recent past.

Concerning the motivations of the killer(s), the hypothesis of a “settling of scores against a backdrop of drug trafficking can reasonably be considered,” adds the same source.

Last year, over ten months, twelve murders by firearm were committed in Seine-Saint-Denis. Almost all of it was linked to the drug trafficking which irrigates the department.

The open investigation was entrusted to the departmental judicial police service, SDPJ 93.
