Royal air Maroc launches a new Rabat – Dakhla route

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Thursday the launch of a new airline between Rabat and Dakhla, as part of the strengthening of its internal flights. From January 15, 2025, this new connection will be operated at two frequencies per week (Wednesday and Friday), the company specifies in a press release.

The flights will be scheduled to depart from Rabat at 6:50 p.m. for an arrival in Dakhla at 9:30 p.m. while the return flights will leave Dakhla at 10:10 p.m. for an arrival in Rabat at 12:25 a.m., continues the same source. Regarding the price, it was set by the two partners at 2,000 dirhams for a round trip in economy class.

This new direct air route is part of the RAM development plan, one of the major axes of which is the strengthening of domestic services. Furthermore, the launch of this line comes as part of a partnership signed between RAM and the Dakhla Oued-Eddahab region, to improve air connectivity with a region with significant tourist assets.

The partnership between RAM and the Dakhla Oued-Eddahab region thus strengthens air connections between cities in the North and those in the South. The national company already operates two flights per day linking Casablanca to Dakhla.
