For the first weekend of 2025, the weather promises to be changeable. In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône or even in Vaucluse, find the weather forecast for the coming days.
The sky will continue to be cloudy this Thursday at the end of the day. During the night from Thursday to Friday, some sporadic rain is expected in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and north of Vaucluse.
Friday. The mistral will rise across all of Provence, with a speed of between 50 to 60 km/h. This west-oriented wind will be especially present in the Rhône Valley. The mistral will also be present in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, but with weaker gusts, of 40 km/h. “A wind that will tear away the cloud cover“, specifies Météo-France, Aix branch.
For temperatures, it will be between 3 and 4 degrees in the Rhône Valley and 5 to 6 degrees on the coast. Between 0 and 2 degrees in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. In the afternoon, the thermometer will reach 9°C in the Durance Valley and 11°C on the coast. It will be between 8°C and 9°C in Vaucluse and 9°C in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, except in the area around Barcelonnette and Sisteron where it will be between 5°C and 7°C.
SATURDAY. The weather will be clear throughout the day. But in the evening, a disturbance, with some light rain, will spread across the whole of Provence. Snow is expected near Sisteron.
Temperature-wise, in the morning it will be -4°C in the Durance Valley, 2°C to 3°C on the coast, -2°C to -4°C in Vaucluse and up to -6°C in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. For maximums, 10 to 13 degrees are expected in Bouches-du-Rhône, between 8 and 10 degrees in Vaucluse and 8 to 9 degrees in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Sunday. Cloud cover is expected across the whole of Provence, with some light rain. In the morning, it will be 3 degrees in the Durance Valley, between 7 and 8 degrees on the coast, 2 to 4 degrees in Vaucluse and between -1 and 1 degrees in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
In the afternoon, you should expect between 14 and 16 degrees in Bouches-du-Rhône, between 12 and 15 degrees in Vaucluse and 10 to 12 degrees in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
