During the year 2024, public transport in Casablanca has undergone significant changes. In a statement for Le360Nabila Rmili, mayor of Casablanca, indicates that public transport in Casablanca has been the subject of efforts “exceptional“, particularly in terms of quality.

«This year, all tram lines have reached 100 kilometers and the number of buses running through the city is 700 vehicles spread over 59 lines. These high-quality means of transport operate according to an integrated system and guarantee compliance with timetables and security measures inside buses and trams thanks to surveillance cameras. These transformations are the pride of the city“, she emphasizes.

The price of the ticket remains within the reach of users, according to the president of the Casablanca City Council, recalling that the municipality takes care of the deficit generated by this transport in order to preserve the purchasing power of citizens.

She also affirmed that a great effort was made this year to resolve the parking problem, with the establishment of new comfortable, air-conditioned car parks that meet safety conditions.
