The 2e Intercommunal employment and training forum was organized by the Pôle Territorial Sud-Gironde, in collaboration with local stakeholders, on December 3 and 4, 2024 at the Espace Claude-Nougaro in Langon (Gironde).

And career competition (production of posters and videos by young people from the area) was proposed.

The competition prize ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 17 in the premises of the Mission Locale des 2 Rives, in Cadillac, in the presence of Patrick Labayle, vice-president of employment-training of the Pôle Territorial Sud-Gironde and Jean-Michel Birem, director of ML2R.

The winners

The winners are:

  • Daniela, Paul, Marine, Simon, Quentin for the design of the poster on the profession of card seller
  • Lucie, Antoine, Guillaume, Mathieu for the production of the video (business video: card seller at the “Le Coin des Barons” store in )

The various partners of the competition were thanked on this occasion: Le Renard et la Souris, Raijin BD, Bureau Vallée, Métropolis Langon and Intersport.

More than 130 exhibitors

The Intercommunal Employment and Training Forum brought together in Langon more than 130 exhibitors around several centers (orientation, training, employment, business creation).

One day was dedicated solely to young people for orientation and initial training, with numerous technical platforms, fun and interactive tools.

A morning was open to the public, dedicated to employment and continuing training, with a job dating organized in partnership with Travail and local missions (55 companies present in the sectors of personal services, construction, transport-logistics, agriculture-viticulture, tourism, commerce, catering, public service, industry, IAE, temporary work ).

A mobile application, PegaseLabwas set up by three young people from the Ausone college in Bazas (Chloé, Maïana and Laureyna with their teacher Pierre-Henri Casarotto) for young people with the creation of 13 courses.

2,300 visitors

The welcome was provided by 27 final year students from the Gisèle-Halimi high school in Bazas. They received “with great professionalism” exhibitors and visitors over the two days.

2,300 visitors were welcomed over the two days of the forum.
