Twenty and forty days have passed since the last steps of the Mastiffs at the Decathlon Arena Stade Pierre Mauroy. Remember, it was last December 11 against Sturm Graz (3-2). In the meantime, Lille held on to Marseille (1-1) and beat Rouen (0-1) in the Coupe de France away before enjoying a well-deserved rest. Now they are back home! In front of their audience.
2/ Because a record series is in the sights
Bruno Genesio's men have not lost any of their last 17 matches in all competitions (10 wins, 7 draws). This is the 2nd longest unbeaten streak in the history of LOSC (tcc) after October 1973-March 1974 (19 – 13 wins, 6 draws).
3/ Because another historic series is in progress
Speaking of series, LOSC have scored at least one goal in their last 32 home matches in Ligue 1 (66 goals in total). This is the best current series among all Ligue 1 clubs, but also the Club's best series since a series of 39 matches, between December 1955 and March 1959.
4/ To experience the kick-off of a new month of fire
In recent months, the Mastiffs have played matches (and victories) at a breakneck pace. But did you know that January 2025 is one of the busiest months of the season. After the reception of Nantes this Saturday (7 p.m.), Lille will go to Auxerre, Friday January 10 (9 p.m.) then to Marseille, Tuesday 14 (9:10 p.m.) in the Coupe de France. They will then continue with the reception in Nice, Friday 17 (9 p.m.) before heading to Liverpool in the Champions League, Tuesday January 21 (9 p.m.). A new detour through Ligue 1, Saturday 25 (7 p.m.) in Strasbourg and Lille will conclude this busy month of January with the reception of Feyenoord for an inevitably crucial match in the Champions League, Wednesday 29 (9 p.m.). A month of 7 matches!
5/ To take advantage of a special holiday offer
To start the year off on the right foot and thus gently close the interlude of Christmas and New Year's Day, LOSC has imagined a range of reduced rates for the reception of FC Nantes. For this resumption match (and just this one), the ticket office changes to red and white, with two reduced prices accessible to all (25 or 15€).
