It is not the most famous hall in the region, nor the one which hosts the greatest number of concerts. Its programming is unlike any other in the department. The Scenith of Albi (Tarn) will stand out again in February 2025 by welcoming two huge shows dedicated to Elton John and Queen.
Jean-Louis Aubert, Indochine, Franck Dubosc, Francis Cabrel Alain Souchon, Pascal Obispo, Bernard Lavilliers and Julien Clerc have performed there in recent years in this room which has no equivalent in the Tarn, with up to to 2,600 seats and up to 4,000 standing places.
If the room is still poorly identified by some, unlike the Grand Théâtre d'Albi or Lo Bolegason in Castres, it is undoubtedly because it is a little hidden away from the prefecture in… the exhibition center.
The Nutcracker in February
Thus, the concerts are scheduled there irregularly, but the capacity of the hall allows it to accommodate large productions which could not be presented elsewhere in the Tarn. This will be the case for example on 1is February 2025 from the opera Nutcracker performed for its premiere in France bye British Festival Balletdirected by Yassaui Mergaliyev. And the next day there will be… Elton John !
Two hours of planetary tubes

Of Bohemian Rhapsody has We will rock youit is once again a grandiose tribute to one of the most famous groups of all time.
And before that, on December 13, there will be a giant blind test at Scénith!
