2024 obliges, sport is there!

In your Top 10, we find the article of the meeting with the boxer Imane Khelif, qualified for the Paris Olympic Games who came to train at the Maison Départementale des Sports in Bazeilles (article to reread here). The mobilization of the Departmental Council in favor of young sports licensees as well as the organization of spring and summer sports courses at Vieilles-Forges were very popular. Finally, the news around the 49e Circuit des Ardennes was also acclaimed by readers.

Live news

Among the most consulted articles, we find those dealing with the state of departmental roads during episodes of flooding in the summer or snow during the winter. When such phenomena occur in the department, the CD08 teams mobilize to ensure the safety of users on the departmental road network by closing roads and setting up diversions.

Childhood and Family

Leader for Early Childhood with Maternal and Child Protection (PMI) and Child Protection, the Department is committed to the well-being of children and families. This year you appreciated the new workshops set up by PMI professionals for parents: baby yoga, stroller hikes, feeding workshops or even babywearing… So much time for discussions and meetings to be found on our map interactive.

The same applies to the role of the Concerning Information Collection Unit (CRIP) which collects and evaluates all worrying information relating to a minor in danger or at risk of being in danger. As a reminder, any citizen or professional can contact CRIP 08.

Seasonal recruitment

Each year, CD08 recruits nearly 100 young people to take up seasonal jobs within its leisure centers and the Departmental Children's Home during the summer period. News which, with the recruitment of apprentices within the Department's services, attracts many readers!

All these subjects affect your daily life, some concern your hobbies, your children or even your travels. This year again, the Department will be at your side every day.
