A family restaurant in Rimouski wants to show generosity to celebrate the New Year. Mileuve Kebab will distribute from 4 p.m., Wednesday, up to 1,000 free meals, including pastries and homemade sandwiches.
The former owner of the establishment, Hamza Djeraimi, explains that he discreetly delivers food to more deprived people every year, since the restaurant opened in 2021. However, some are reluctant to ask for help.

To try to attract more people in need without being able to identify them, the team decided to create an event for the entire community. It is non-discriminatory
mentions Mr. Djeraimi. This means that, whatever your economic situation, you will have a good lunch.
If you know people who have needs and who are hesitant, please invite them because that’s the event. It’s for you, it’s for Rimouski.
The community spirit of the family members motivates them to open their kitchen to everyone. To make the event possible, the whole family is called upon to participate, whether in time or money. We are a community restaurant
specifies Hamza Djeraimi, who recently handed over general management to his cousin. Hoping to be able to break the isolation and be a small symbol of generosity.
