A Lamborghini caught fire in an underground garage in Zufikon (AG) on New Year’s Eve, causing heavy smoke and damaging at least 75 cars. More than a hundred firefighters had to intervene.

The fire started in the garage of a housing estate. Residents noticed smoke emitting at the end of the evening and raised the alarm, the Aargau police said on Wednesday. When firefighters arrived, the garage was filled with smoke.

In question, a Lamborghini which caught fire, for a reason that the investigation will have to elucidate. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the smoke and soot caused damage to dozens of other vehicles.

The high heat also damaged the concrete roof. More than a hundred firefighters were mobilized for several hours to bring the fire under control.
