Training Caja Rural-Seguros RGA announced this Monday the extension of its young 23-year-old Uruguayan talent, Thomas Silvaon his birthday. The latter, who distinguished himself this year by finishing second in the general classification of the Qinghai Lake Tour and second in GP Larcianobehind the Swiss Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates), continues its adventure with the Spanish team until 2027.

2024, the year of confirmation for Thomas Silva

The 2024 season was particularly notable for Silvawho managed to place 22 times in the top 10 of the races in which he participated. He thus becomes the third best neo-professional of the year, just behind Joseph Blackmore (Israel Premier-Tech) et Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates).
