Moving to Belgium with a full-time job and a secondary activity in Luxembourg – Taxation – Les Frontaliers Forum

Bonjour,

I currently live in Luxembourg, I have a full-time job in Luxembourg, as well as a secondary activity as a freelancer in Luxembourg (I provide my services only in Luxembourg).

However, real estate prices being what they are in Luxembourg, I plan to soon move to Belgium, in order to be able to financially afford to rent a house and therefore establish my main residence there as a tenant. .

So I have a few questions that bother me:

Can I without problem maintain my independent activity in Luxembourg at the current address (I have an office at my parents’ address), even if I declare my main residence in Belgium?

Can I keep my car registration in Luxembourg? It is equipped for my independent activity (with lettering of the commercial sign) and serves me 90% for trips related to this activity (I keep a travel log allowing me to also justify it during my tax returns).

Thank you in advance for your answers

Eli
