According to information reported by Alerte Info, Mamour Bakhoum threw himself into the Guadalquivir River to escape an intervention by the police. Unfortunately, he did not make it to shore and drowned.
Originally from Porokhane, a village located in the Kaolack department in Senegal, Mamour Bakhoum leaves behind a wife and children. This tragedy raises serious concerns within the Senegalese diaspora, because this death marks the 23rd case of Senegalese found murdered or dead in suspicious circumstances in Spain since the start of the year.
