Ferdi Tayfur, who suddenly fell ill at his home in the Marmaris district of Muğla, was taken to intensive care and treated at a private hospital. Tayfur, who was reportedly ill with a cold, was sent to this city by air ambulance on the night of December 17, at the request of his doctor at Antalya Hospital, where he had previously been treated.
Ferdi Tayfur, treated in intensive care, died this evening around 7 p.m.

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş wished God’s mercy to artist Ferdi Tayfur, who lost his life in the hospital where he was being treated in Antalya.
