By decree of the President of the Republic dated December 16, 2024, published on the 18th in the Official Journal, Philippe Destable, who was the academy inspector of Haute-Saône, was appointed academic director of national education services (Dasen) of the Somme, a position for which he will officially take office on January 6, 2025. He is therefore leaving Haute-Saône where he was appointed on June 23, 2022.
Already announced in the Somme
His appointment has already been welcomed within the Somme academy. The main person concerned mentions it himself on his social networks.
Philippe Destable stayed thirty months in Haute-Saône, but his presence is welcomed by the management staff of National Education: “valuable listening and support”, a “commitment to the success of all students” , “audacity”, “kindness”… The now ex-Dasen 70 flew some 4,000 people in Haute-Saône. In the Somme, he will be at the head of double these numbers.
Successor not yet known
His successor, female or male, is not yet known. The services are currently closed and the Official Journal, since the announcement of the appointment of Philippe Destable in the Somme, has not made public new appointments in National Education. But the new Minister of National Education, Élisabeth Borne, was only appointed a short week ago…
