For the Espace France services – managed by Grand Cognac – it is now rue Pierre-Frapin that this is happening. Just behind the town hall, in the old optical store, at number 14, the town hall invested €15,000 to fit out the premises. Since Thursday, two town hall agents have been working there part-time, 24 hours per week, Florence Robert and Sandra Da Silva (the remaining 11 hours being devoted to town hall).
They were trained especially for this position, which requires a lot of knowledge on the different public services that are accessible: Ameli, CAF, MSA, Retirement Fund, France Travail, Urssaf, DGFip (taxes), Adil, France Rénov or even ANTS for the issuance of secure documents (CNI, passport, driving license, etc.).
Internet station
This Thursday, for the opening, Aurore did not hesitate to push the door to ask for help. “I'm moving to a new home and looking for a guarantor. I went to the Visale site but it was very complicated, so I might as well get help,” smiles the young woman from Lignières-Ambleville. For her first mission, Sandra Da Silva carried out without difficulty, except that of taming the new photocopier.
The two women will be present every day, from Monday to Friday, to inform and above all support the public. A closed office makes it possible to receive users “for more complex requests, which require more time, such as papers”, points out Florence Robert, who swapped her position at the town hall reception for this one. Another office is reserved for the various organizations which will come to hold offices there (the schedule for which is not yet known).
As a bonus, a computer station, with internet access and photocopier (limited to 10 prints per file) is also available for self-service. “It’s practical for those who don’t have a computer at home. And we can support them in their efforts if necessary, indicates Florence Robert. We know that for the elderly, but not only, administrative procedures over the internet can be complicated. »
Adapted hours
A stone's throw from the Espace France services, the new postal agency is located in the town hall, in a room located on the ground floor (on the right when entering). Cécile Massepetiot works behind the counter, five days a week. “We have a 26-hour schedule, with schedules also adapted to those who work,” she points out.
Former town hall secretary in Angeac-Champagne, she knows the work well having managed the town's postal agency. “We offer all the services of the Post Office: franking letters and parcels, the sale of stamps, parcel deposits and we even provide financial assistance for Postal Bank customers, with withdrawals and deposits », explains Cécile Massepetiot. Outside, a mailbox was also installed.
“This creates a central service hub, with parking nearby. »
For the mayor, Laurent Georges, it was “essential” to set up this agency. “We wanted to put it in the Espace France services but it was not big enough. At the town hall, it's perfect. This creates a central service hub, with parking nearby. It's really practical. »
