Three years of work
Arriving on the scene, the firefighters brought the large blaze under control and prevented it from spreading to the adjoining house at 17 rue Crévéchamps.
The town hall initially made a room available to the couple who had just moved into this house three months ago. “I renovated this house for three years. We got married in August and we had just had our first Christmas there,” explained this agricultural employee from Gérardcourt, moved and with a haggard look.
Two hours later, the fire was not completely under control, a fire whose origin remains undetermined for the moment.
