1 Bombards and mulled wine, in Groix
For 13 years now, a collective swim has been organized every end of the year on the island of Groix. This year, the Subagrec association will meet this Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 12:15 p.m., on the VVF beach. To add some ambiance, Breton music will accompany the swimmers. Like every year, a mulled wine will be served at the exit to warm up the brave. Last year, the event brought together 200 swimmers.
The costumes will be out on January 4, 2025, on the beach of Anse du Stole, in Ploemeur. The Sonalom association celebrates the new year with its traditional shrimp bath. Meet at 9:30 a.m. for warm-ups, before setting off to take on the deep blue at 9:45 a.m. Participants must register in advance with the association, for €2. Hot drinks will be served to them once they return to the beach. Good to know: a heated room will be available for them to change and dry off. A refreshment bar will be available to spectators. Registrations on [email protected] or by SMS to tel. 06 70 84 31 78.
After a probably drunken evening, what could be better than a little bath in cold water to clear your head? The Starfish repeat their first annual sea swim. Participants are invited to meet at 11 a.m. sharp on January 1, 2025, in front of the Colibri, on Toulhars beach. Swimsuit required, costume optional. A short warm-up session is planned before the big jump into the water. Once out of the water and recovered from their emotions, swimmers will be treated to a mulled wine and/or coffee. Those who are motivated must register in advance with Colibri. Participation is free.
