Burgos BH holds its 9th recruit of the offseason! The Spanish team formalized this Friday the signing of Tomoya Koyama and thus secures the presence of 23 riders for the 2025 season. After several experiences in the UCI Continental, the 26-year-old Japanese will discover, next year, a ProTeam team. After the arrival of David Martinthe signature of Koyama allows the purple team to strengthen for mass arrivals.

“I want to become national champion”

After beginnings in Asia with Interpro Academy or within the Team Ukyo, Tomoya Koyama more recently discovered the European circuit with the team Global 6 Cyclingthe Team Vorarlberg or even the Vini Monzon-Savini Due-OMZ. Described as “a fast runner”, he will put his 6 years of experience in Asian and European cycling at the service of his new team. “First of all, I would like to thank Burgos BH for giving me this opportunity” Koyama began in a press release issued by his new team. “I've already spent a few years racing in Europe, alongside cyclists from Spain and Spanish-speaking countries, so it's very special for me to join a professional Spanish team. I enjoy participating in the sprints, but also helping my teammates , so I hope to give my best. My goal is to participate in more races and work for the team. I also want to become a national champion.
