In fact, traffic will be slowed down around three roundabouts entering the city of Auch: Justes, Pavie and Saint-Cricq. On the latter, the tractors will be out, spills are expected. Place de la Libération will be likely to be blocked from 4 p.m. with a convoy meeting at the prefecture.
The farmers behind this mobilization are therefore calling for concrete measures to support farmers. Among their demands is also, among other things, “drastic administrative simplification through government-led measures.”

The prefecture invites motorists to “take measures to avoid the city center and to respect road safety instructions, in particular the diversions put in place.” Furthermore, as far as possible, it calls for anticipating the recovery of children after school.
The Gers Rural Coordination union has indicated for its part that the mobilization will resume with a vengeance from this Tuesday, December 3.
