The Italian Federica Brignone won the first round of the giant of Semmering (Austria) on Saturday, December 28, counting for the Alpine Ski World Cup, ahead of the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami and the Swede Sara Hector.

Starting with bib 6, Brignone is 15 hundredths ahead of Gut-Behrami and 24 hundredths ahead of Hector.
