To change your life, sometimes all you need is a desire and a little willpower… like Laurent, a former caregiver who, at the age of 40, decided to open a restaurant in a small village. of the Perche.
They say all roads lead to Rome. But for this family, it leads to a small village in Normandy, that's where they all ended up.
Laurent never left Perche. It is the land that saw him grow. 23 years ago, he decided to move into this house unlike any other, with the strange idea of cooking among antiques in mind. “I was a caregiver at the hospital for 20 years and I was supposed to stay there until the end of my career (…) This opportunity to come and cook presented itself and it was just the right time”he says.
The adventure was first written as a couple, with his mother, a former retired trader. Although she finally hung up her apron recently, Nicole is never far away.
The day varies but the ritual does not change. Once a week, the clan meets.
